IIn order to ensure smooth and successful implementation of microcredit programs of the partner organizations, Grameen Trust conducts monitoring visits to their programs. GT attaches utmost importance to its monitoring and evaluation tasks, as through this it ensures effective implementation of the programs by providing necessary assistance, whenever required.
In 2009, GT conducted monitoring and evaluation visits to a total of 11 organizations in Bangladesh, india, Indonesia, Kosovo and the United States of America to evaluate the performance of different organizations, their weaknesses and strengths, their understanding and application of Grameen methodology and the initiatives they had taken or need to take for their development. Based on this, the organizations are guided and supervised to improve their performance and quality of their financial services to the poor.
In this year Grameen Trust provided technical assistance to China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) in Beijing, China.
