To meet the demands of various organizations engaged in microcredit, Grameen Trust organizes training programs for existing and potential partners. Through these training programs, the staff of interested and potential partners are trained on the technicalities of implementing microcredit programs. The training program helps the participants improve their knowledge and skills in order for the program to be successful.

In 2009, Grameen Trust conducted two training programs. One training program was organized in January 2009 in Dhaka on Grameen Basics in order to familiarize the participants with basic Grameen credit delivery mechanism. Two participants from RMDC, Nepal took part in it. Another training program was conducted in February 2009 in Yamida, Indonesia on "Financial Analysis on GB model". Nineteen staff of Yamida actively took part in the training program. The participants were very satisfied, as they have found it to be very useful for running their microcredit programs successfully.

As of December 2009, Grameen Trust provided training to 1676 participants from518 organizations of 134 countries.
