Internship

The Grameen Trust internship program provides opportunities for students interested in development issues to expand their knowledge about the Grameen Bank Approach. Interns visit projects and collect data for individual research projects, as well as acquiring valuable experience with which to complement their graduate study or career pursuits. They also have access to the GT library, which has a rich collection of materials on Grameen Bank, microcredit, development and poverty related issues.

GT also offers off-site internships through the NetAid Volunteer Program via e-mail correspondence assignments. Through this program, Grameen Trust interns participate in GT’s international programs, exposing them to the Grameen experience without actually being at GT in person. Interns are given various types of assignments including translation of documents and reports to complete for GT, which allows them to have a direct experience of the works that GT is involved in.
