Sub: Grameen Global Network (GGN)

Dear Friend:

We are all gathered here at the Microcredit Summit to plan the part that each of us can play, individually and within our own institutions, to contribute towards the Microcredit Summit’s goal of reaching out to 100 million poorest families, especially the women of those families, with credit and other financial services by the year 2005.

The Grameen Trust is committed to reach 10 million poor families, one tenth of the Summit’s goal, through its network of partners worldwide by 2005.The Grameen Global Network (GGN), coordinated by the Grameen Trust, will provide a forum for the exchange of experiences, learnings and information between the partners, friends and supporters of Grameen to enable us to (1) plan and coordinate our work effectively and (2) monitor our progress towards the attainment of our goal.
